Class Description

When they come in to check out books, they must have a list of books from which
they would like to choose. They will not be permitted in the library to check
out books unless they have a list. This cuts down on the amount of time that it
wasted from just wandering through the library looking at the book covers. There's too many interesting books in the library to be
limiting the books they read to the ones that have “cool” covers. Not all the
GOOD books have “cool” covers! Take a risk!

Special Announcements
We are now in our 3rd quarter!
Student should always have something to read in their classes.
They should always be prepared to silent read if a teacher asks them to do so.
AR is 25% of their grade! So it is very important to be prepared at all times!
READ! READ! READ! It's more fun than you think!!!!
If students come with a list of books that interest them and they just aren't
sure which book to choose, I will GLADLY help them find a book! We have over
200 new fiction books and 54 new science non-fiction books. Come check them
out!!!!!!!!
AR end date for the 3rd quarter is March 2nd.
Read on! We had 55% of the school reach
their AR goal 2nd quarter! That is a record! Students are not only
finding they can reach
their goal, they are finding books and authors that interest them.
I am always open to a new challenge. Come ask me for a book to
read!
