The 2008–2009 school year marks my 11th
year in education. My experiences have been in California,
Florida, and Arizona as a teacher and currently in
administration. Here at Thunder Mountain Middle School
I have had the pleasure of working as the 8th grade special
education, inclusion teacher and for the past two years as Dean and Academic
Coach. I received a Masters Degree in
Curriculum and Instruction in 2003 and am highly qualified in the area special
education. It is a pleasure to be this
year’s 6th grade dean and I look to working with you to make our
students successful.

I organize and supervise the reward program
and recycling program for Thunder
Mountain Middle
School. In order to be eligible for the end of the semester reward a
student may not have more than 6 “H”, “T” or “P” stamps, no more than 4
absences, and no more than 2 referrals within the semester. Most of our kids do well with these requirements and if parents
review their agendas nightly, their chances of meeting the requirements improve
significantly. Also, I have been
instrumental in creating our student agenda for the 2008-2009 school year.
