CLASS DESCRIPTION


The TLC classes are aligned with students' IEP goals. Classes are individualized as much as possible and are designed to improve students' basic skills in each area.

 Come prepared to learn with all necessary materials

  Be polite, friendly and cooperative. Cruelty and rudeness will not be tolerated

HOMEWORK POLICY


Homework is expected to be completed and ready to turn in at the beginning of class. Homework turned in by the next class period will also receive a grade. However, students will receive a NO stamp, and possibly full day, if homework is not turned in on the due date. If absent, a student is expected to make up the assigned work. One day is allowed for each day absent.

CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

Students   will be given a verbal warning, and in-class time out or “responsibility Center” or “Alone Zone” will be utilized. Student will need to complete “My Action Plan” in order to leave the area. A student can however place him or herself in “The Alone Zone” for a limited amount of time if he or she requires time to regroup after a stressful situation. This can be done without consequence to the student.
