We will be working on group activities including personal money management, child development, kitchen math and basic nutrition. All students will learn kitchen safety and participate in food labs.





CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

Students are greeted at the door by the teacher. Students quickly and quietly navigate to their assigned seat. They then quietly start the mindset (mini-assignment) reading their AR book. The teacher takes roll and then discusses the lesson on the board with the students. After this, the teacher starts the lesson for the day's objective.

    Respect the student's right to learn.
Come prepared with all necessary materials.
Respect school property.
Be polite, friendly and cooperative. No cruelty, rudeness, meanness, or violent behavior will be tolerated.

Homework assignments turned in on time, in classroom format with each problem neatly attempted, receives full credit. Late or incomplete work receives half credit. After the week, no credit is given unless absent. As many days as a student is absent, is as many days as the student has to make up the missed work.
