Class Description

 

This class will help students understand the ideals, rights, and responsibilities of American citizenship, with emphasis on the Constitution and government at local, state, and national levels. Geography and global economics will be a major focus throughout the year as well.

 

Classroom Management

 

Students enter the classroom, and begin working on the mindset (mini-assignment) found on the front board. The teacher takes attendance, stamps stamp sheets, then introduces the day's objective(s). Students will practice and review the objective(s), and be assessed for mastery.

Come prepared to succeed.
Be polite, friendly, and cooperative.

Homework Policy

 

Homework is given regularly in class. Work must be completed on time. Any missed work due to an absence will be made up during the next class. Students will be given until the next class day to make the work up.
