7th Grade Science

Class Description

7th graders will be focused on life science. They will be learning about living things, parts of cells, plants and animals.

 

Quarter 4

The last day of each unit there will be a test or quiz.  Study your notes the night before.

6th Grade Science

Description

6th Graders will begin the year by studying the atmosphere and weather.  Then the second half of the year we will begin our life science unit and study plants, animals, and the human body.

Homework Policy

Homework needs to be turned in during the next class. Missing graded work can be turned in till the end of the quarter. They will receive deductions in points for any late work.



Classroom Procedures

Students enter the room quietly and grab a mindset from the basket or look on the board for the mindset directions. Next they sit down in their assigned seats and immediately start getting out their homework, and then they get started on the mindset. After the attendance is taken we begin the review part of the lesson. Next we will go over the new material. After the lesson is completed the homework will be posted on the front board, and they are to write it in their agendas.
