My
Science class is aligned with the

· Follow directions the first time they are given.
· Come to class prepared each day.
· Raise your hand to speak.
· Stay in your seat.
· Be kind to everyone.

My
discipline plan is very simple.
3 STRIKES & YOU’RE OUT!
· Strike 1 = Warning
· Strike 2 = A conference outside with me
· Strike 3 = You’re Out
of the classroom with a referral to the office and a phone call home.

· Pencil, Pen & Eraser
· Notebook Paper
· Agenda
· AR Book
AND
· Science Journal (for Science only)

Homework will be given daily and is due the
following day unless otherwise specified.
If a student is absent for regular class work, the assignment will be
due the next school day. Students have 1
day for each day missed to complete homework.
It is the student’s responsibility to acquire any work that was missed.
Students who do not complete assignments will
receive a reminder. He/she will have
until the next class to turn in any assignment for partial credit. After 1 week, no credit will be given. Students that miss more than 3 homework
assignments will receive mandatory study hall and a phone call home.
When and if extra credit is given, it is only given
to students who have completed all of the regular class assignments. Extra credit will not be given to those who
are missing regular class work.

Students are greeted at the door by the
teacher. Students quietly navigate to
their assigned seats and start the mindset (mini-assignment) listed on the
board. Students need to be in their
seats and working quietly when the final bell rings. The teacher takes roll and then discusses the
lesson on the board with the students as they fill out their agenda. After this, the teacher starts the lesson for
the day.

I hope everyone has an amazing and restful
summer. I look forward to seeing
everyone again soon; August 6th, 2008!!!!!!
I will be collecting animal figures (not dinosaurs). If you have some you would like to donate,
just drop them off at the office or bring them in when school starts.

If you have any questions, or just want to say hi,
please email me
and I’ll get back with you
as soon as I
can.
